Protein Waffles

These protein waffles are such a winner and so simple to make! You can freeze any leftovers to enjoy them throughout the week! These are vegan and delicious. You can also opt for a non-vegan and use 2 eggs instead of mashed bananas.
Waffle Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups wholemeal self-raising flour
- 130g of mashed banana
- 2 tbsp pure organic maple syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp bRaw Ultimate Plant Protein powder
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
Method:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the milk and mashed bananas (or eggs), and add coconut oil. Whisk in the remaining ingredients. Heat a non-stick waffle iron, (if not non-stick: coat with cooking spray or coconut oil). Add portions of your waffle mixture and cook as necessary.
Enjoy it! This recipe makes roughly 10 waffles! You can top it with coconut yoghurt, berries, peanut butter, maple syrup and/or activated buckinis.
